Mezzo-Soprano
Teacher/Coach

Mauri Tetreault is a voice teacher, performer, furniture restorer, gardener, and proud lifelong New Englander. A graduate of The Boston Conservatory, Mauri has been a member of Boston Singers’ Resource since its early days and credits much of her early success to this supportive, informative, and friendly organization that has buoyed the careers of so many talented singers, teachers, directors, and administrators.

As Outreach Coordinator for Houses of Worship with Boston Singers' Resource, she will help to connect singers with ongoing or sub work at places of worship, and support music directors who want to hire singers. She oversees the Boston Church Sub List and actively builds relationships with singers and directors to inform herwork.  Mauri is looking forward to working with the many wonderful singers and directors who lend their voices to worship services in all faiths throughout the New England area.

While working as a singer in the Boston area for over two decades, Mauri honed her administrative skills through a variety of correlating careers in the finance and biotech industries. Currently, Mauri maintains a successful private voice studio, where she works with all ages, but particularly enjoys making an impact on the development of serious high school-aged students. As a performer, Mauri appears frequently with Odyssey Opera as a member of their professional ensemble roster, and has had recent soloist engagements with companies such as Hartford Opera Theater, Greater Worcester Opera, Opera del West, and the Paul Madore Chorale.
