Lyric Baritone Juan Suarez, currently based in Quincy, MA., holds a Masters Degree from the New England Conservatory of Music in Vocal Performance and a Bachelors Degree from Stetson University. Mr. Suarez has most recently appeared onstage as Il Conte in NEMPAC Opera Project’s production of Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro, Betto in Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi and Mercurio in Cavalli’s La Calisto in and around the Greater Boston Area. During the summer of 2020, Juan collaborated with Due Donne Productions in a one-of-a-kind virtual performance of Humperdinck’s opera Hansel und Gretel, staged using the popular video game, ‘Animal Crossing: New Horizons,’ which received reviews from OperaWire and the Boston Globe. Mr. Suarez has sung with the Boston Festival Orchestra, Boston Youth Symphony Orchestra, Odyssey Opera, and with the Community Engagement Programs at NEC, featuring a tour of two children's operas for two consecutive years at schools and venues throughout New England.

Juan currently sings with the Choir of the New Jerusalem, Resident-Choir of The Church on the Hill, Boston, under the direction of Andrew David Mattfeld. He also works with Nightingale Vocal Ensemble as a soloist, composer, and member of the ensemble, In addition to teaching private voice with South Shore Conservatory.  He is an active musician in the Boston musical scene.
