A Community in Song: NEMPAC Annual Holiday Concert

Join NEMPAC for an evening of joyful celebration and musical diversity at A Community in Song: NEMPAC Holiday Concert. This special event, led by Artistic Director Stefano Marchese, will highlight the rich cultural tapestry of our community through a variety of holiday music traditions from around the world. From the fun and festive opening by the Eliot School Choir to the soul-stirring Hallelujah chorus finale, this concert promises something for everyone.
Featuring the talented NEMPAC Adult Holiday Choir, Bengisu Gokce String Quartet, and Arlington High School Chamber Orchestra directed by Maestro Tino D’Agostino, as well as extraordinary solo performances by NEMPAC faculty and guest artists, the program will include songs that reflect holiday celebrations from diverse cultural traditions. Experience the magic of Hanukkah, Christmas, and Black spirituals through captivating arrangements.
The evening will culminate in a powerful performance of Handel’s Hallelujah chorus, bringing together the entire ensemble of musicians and vocalists in a celebration of unity through music.
This 90-minute concert is perfect for all ages, blending classical and contemporary elements to create a festive, inclusive holiday experience.
This event is FREE and open to the public. There is a limit of 4 tickets per reservation.

PARKING & PUBLIC TRANSPORT:
There are several parking lots within a few minutes’ walk on Commercial Street, including the Sargent’s Wharf Lot (269 Commercial Street).
For public transportation you will want to take the Green or Orange Lines to North Station or Haymarket (the walk is about 10-15 minutes from there), or the Blue Line at Aquarium (also about a 10-15 minute walk to the venue).
ACCESSIBILITY: While Sacred Heart Church is wheelchair accessible, we encourage audience members to reach out if they have any accessibility issues to reach out to Will Neely at wneely@nempacboston.org.
