Director's Choice
Jamestown Community Chorus
Please join us in celebrating our “Director’s Choice” of his favorite choral pieces on May 4 at 4:00 p.m. and May 5 at 3:00 p.m. at the Jamestown Recreation Center, 41 Conanicus Ave., Jamestown, R.I.
This year marks the 30th year of B.J. Whitehouse as Director of the Jamestown Community Chorus and, to honor this occasion, the chorus will perform some of his favorite choral selections. The repertoire varies from Vaughan-Williams’ “For All the Saints” to Brahms’ “Abendstanchen” to Britten’s “The Evening Primrose” to Mullholland’s “A Red, Red Rose” to Thompson’s “Alleluia.”
Tickets are $15-in advance, $17-at door, and $12-students.
