Italian Lyric Diction Workshop

Italian is the language that many classical singers often spend the most time working on, as so much of the most celebrated vocal music, by composers like Monteverdi, Handel, Mozart, Bellini, Rossini, Donizetti, Verdi, and Puccini, just to name a few, was written to be sung in Italian. It is a language with so much potential for beauty and expressivity, and we are thrilled to be bringing in the wonderful Italian coach and mezzo-soprano, Felicia Gavilanes, to do a workshop with our community focusing specifically on the Italian language!

Please join us on Saturday, March 1 at 2:00pm at Somerville Music Spaces for a fun and engaging afternoon all about Italian! Felicia will be offering her wonderful presentation on Italian Lyric Diction, as well as some hands-on experience through a mini-masterclass with attendees!
