Songs and their Offspring
Convivium Musicum
From the earliest improvisations around Gregorian melodies, composers and performers have taken familiar tunes, sacred and secular alike, as points of departure in the creation of polyphonic music. Experience some of these notable songs and beautiful melodies from the 15th and 16th centuries along with their various musical progeny.
