Singers deserve to be freely imaginative in their music making process. While most singers navigate hardship, Black singers are often expected to dismantle the harmful practices that destruct their capacity to be their best, most free selves. Navigating Wellness for Black Musicians in Colonialist Spaces brings to light rewarding solutions for Black singers seeking more equitable experiences beyond the current offerings. The presentation will include time for questions that reflect the interests of prioritizing the wellness of Black singers.
